Jake Clayton is celebrating his first 'official' co-writing credit for “Dirt Around the Tree” the new single from Candi Carpenter. The production of the song includes some 'heavyweights' in the biz including multi Grammy award winner Brandi Carlile, who produced the track and sang harmonies on it. On top of that, it was recorded and mixed by Grammy winning engineer Brandon Bell. Of course, Jake also put his musical talents on the track performing fiddle and mandolin. A recent review had this to say: "I appreciate more that this song is bolstered by its terrific mandolin work".
