When it comes to live music, Jake Clayton has a lifetime of experience. Having performed Country Music shows since a kid in mid-Missouri, Jake made his move to the pro stages as a multi-Instrumentalist before the age of 21. Since then, he has traveled around the globe performing as a musician for Country Music hitmakers on tours headlined by stars such as Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Bob Segar, Dierks Bentley, and Alan Jackson (to name a few). He has performed on-stage with Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, & Trisha Yearwood, and he’s played on legendary stages like The Grand Ole Opry, Madison Square Garden, & Red Rocks. Jake is also the active bandleader and fiddle, steel, dobro, mandolin, and piano player for Country Music legend Tanya Tucker. He has appeared with Tanya on CMT’s “Summer Sessions”, The CMA Awards, CMT’s “Smashing Glass”, The CMT Awards, Austin City Limits, & Jimmy Fallon.
On top of that, Jake Clayton has spent over a decade working as an artist crafting his own unique blend of genre-bending Country Music that mixes amped up guitars and hi-energy drumming with a full arsenal of roots-based Instruments like fiddle, dobro, mandolin, & banjo. Jake's latest album "Signs" has hit over 400,000 streams on Spotify alone and 2 of the album videos were featured on The Country Network (TCN). Having a unique mix of old and new Country styles infused with Rock, Bluegrass, and even some worldly sounds, Jake can comfortably cater to whatever crowd he is performing to. As an artist, Jake Clayton has opened shows for hitmakers Jon Pardi, Granger Smith, Kane Brown, Cole Swindell, Colt Ford, and David Allan Coe. Most recently, he performed before bluegrass favorites Yonder Mountain String Band and his trio has received multiple standing ovations as the opening act for Tanya Tucker. Jake has also been a featured artist two times on StarVista's Country Music Cruise (formerly Opry at Sea) with the latest in Jan of 2026.
When Jake is not on the road, you can often find him in the Nashville honky-tonks, where he keeps his pulse on what Country Music fans worldwide love to hear.
